Sang Nila Utama overcame an unexpected storm by offering his crown to appease the sea and finally lead him to the founding of Singapura.

 

Since the yonder years, ships and empires are all driven to the island by the wind and tide, bringing in a plethora of vibrant cultures (and fabrics) that made the Unique Singapore today.  

 

Fascinated and inspired with the intricacies of Batik fabric derived from Indonesian heritage, ARUS is a fusion of bold exaggerated details with modern ethnic Batik. 

 

A play with color combinations, making simple silhouettes interesting with incorporated flowy flounces and comfortable modest fitting for the body conscious.
